Location: 12 miles west of Canon City and immediately south of U.S. Highway 50 and the Arkansas River.
Description:
McIntyre Hills is a small range of steep hills along the Arkansas River just west of the Royal Gorge. The area provides good habitat for a variety of mammals and birds. With minimal trail development, the area is good for bushwhack hiking, but not bicycling.
